[Greedy Goblin]
Greedy Goblin is an indie game developed for the University of Utah EAE Capstone project. Below is a link to the game. Our game was #1 on Steam's free game trending page.

My role on this project was being a technical artist. For the purposes of this portfolio I will go over the rigging and animation only.
Rigging
The focus of the rig was to help make the character be as animated as possible with constraining anatomy. The torso is super long and the legs are like stubs. The rig went through multiple iterations to get the body to animate correctly. The final rig had independant hips, stretchy spine, set driven key fingers, posable ears, and a seperate bag rig that moves on a pivot. I proud of the animal ears as it was my first time innovating a rig without a tutorial or help.

Animation
The animations are pretty simple and when the powers are added with the special items later in the game, the timing and physics was altered instead of a whole new animation. There is a run, walk, 3-stage jump, and 2 idle animations. There were roughly 4 passes on the animations as the rig was adjusted for the body.
